چکیده

Oxygen is the main participant in redox reactions body and its deficiency can lead to organ dysfunction. Thus, a decrease blood flow certain region of myocardium patients with coronary heart disease cause attack. According experimental studies, early reperfusion reduces infarct size, clinical studies have shown that effective affected artery prevention re-occlusion basis for minimizing size mortality. Timely performed percutaneous intervention acute myocardial infarction significantly reduced mortality rate risk failure. Despite endovascular treatment effectiveness, there still need additional methods cardioprotection, reducing area preventing development failure adverse left ventricular remodeling. Blood oxygen supersaturation (SSO 2 therapy) one adjuvant cardioprotection ischemia. This review describes possible mechanisms implementing cardioprotective effects SSO2 therapy, technology equipment necessary application this technique. In addition, results on SSO therapy are consecrated. Of note, only multicentre prospective randomized controlled trial uniform randomization was performed. use limited by commercial equipment.

Effect of supersaturated oxygen delivery on infarct size after percutaneous coronary intervention in acute myocardial infarction.

BACKGROUND Myocardial salvage is often suboptimal after percutaneous coronary intervention in ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction. Posthoc subgroup analysis from a previous trial (AMIHOT I) suggested that intracoronary delivery of supersaturated oxygen (SSO(2)) may reduce infarct size in patients with large ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction treated early. METHODS AND RESULTS A...

MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION Oxygen delivery and consumption and P 50 in patients with acute myocardial infarction

We investigated the relationship between oxygen delivery (DO2), oxygen consumption (V02), and influence of oxyhemoglobin dissociation (P50) on VO2 in 40 patients with complicated myocardial infarction. A decrease in V02 and an increase in P50 were observed as DO2 decreased due to pump failure. In a given range of DO2, VO2 was related to P50 in survivors (r values .472 to .647, p < .01). Each mi...

Oxygen Therapy in Suspected Acute Myocardial Infarction.

BACKGROUND The clinical effect of routine oxygen therapy in patients with suspected acute myocardial infarction who do not have hypoxemia at baseline is uncertain. METHODS In this registry-based randomized clinical trial, we used nationwide Swedish registries for patient enrollment and data collection. Patients with suspected myocardial infarction and an oxygen saturation of 90% or higher wer...
